Rice ball bread” made by “Bakery Kobo,” a rice-flour bread specialty store located in JA Aichi Nishi Sanchi Hiroba Minami-Obuchi Store, has been well received.
The rice flour is locally produced “Aichi no Kaori” and milled in the store. The white color of the rice is reproduced by baking it slowly at a low temperature. The bread is wrapped with nori seaweed produced in the prefecture, giving it the appearance of an onigiri (rice ball). The rice flour has a unique sweetness and firm texture, and comes in two types of fillings: tuna mayo and cod roe potato. Priced at 150 yen per piece.
